You can reach Munich’s city centre from the hotel in just 30 minutes. Once you arrive in the Old Town, you can easily discover on foot many of the most important attractions such as the Viktualienmarkt or the Frauenkirche. As you stroll through the countryside surrounding Munich, explore Upper Bavaria’s unspoilt nature with its palaces, lakes and endless meadows that stretch out to the snowy Alpine peaks. Unterhaching itself has some interesting places and activities, such as the Jochen Schweizer Arena, the museum of local history and the Hachinger Tal nature park.

Frauenkirche
The Frauenkirche or Church of Our Lady is located in the middle of the Old Town centre and is one of Munich’s landmarks. Marienplatz is a popular meeting point and visiting the Frauenkirche is a must for anyone on holiday in the city.
Theresienwiese

Since the Aparthotel Fresh Inn is located to the south of the city, it takes between just 30 and 60 minutes to reach some of our famous lakes. Lake Starnberg is just 30 km away, but you can easily reach Tegernsee, Schliersee, Ammersee, Chiemsee and Forggensee as well. In summer, the lakes with their wonderfully clear water and unique panorama in the background attract plenty of visitors. In winter, the shores of Lake Starnberg etc. offer some of the most beautiful views of the snowy Bavarian landscape.

Germany’s fifth-largest lake is only 30 km away from the hotel. Also known as the Würmsee or “Munich’s bath tub,” numerous visitors from Munich and the whole region flock to the lakes to walk along its banks.

Lake Ammer
Fed by the Ammer, the lake offers excellent water quality for bathers. With Utting Lido and the wonderful recreational facilities in the Eching recreational area such as SUP or volleyball, the lake also has a sporting side.

Tegernsee

Activities
around munich
Walking, golf, cycling, motorcycle tours or boating – there are thousands of ways to make good use of your free time. The varied landscape provides different types of terrain that are ideal for athletes and active people of any age. Those who prefer things a little more relaxed can stay closer to the city or enjoy a stroll along the banks of the rivers and lakes. The peaks of the nearby mountains are attractive to ambitious mountaineers. The region is also known for its lively customs and rich wealth of art and culture. From the monasteries in Pfaffenwinkel to the local history museums and works of art by the Murnau group “The Blue Rider”, our guests will always find something interesting to do.
Walking
Walking around Unterhaching you will discover the Perlacher Forst, the Hirschbrunnen and numerous other parks and special places. Only an hour away by car, the Alps await you with their fantastic mountain ranges.
Cycling
It’s easy to discover the surrounding area by bike. Start outside the hotel and ride by e-bike comfortably through the green meadows and hills in the Alpine foothills. Mountain bikers are drawn to Garmisch, Lenggries or Samerberg.
Golfing
The Greater Munich area has a wealth of golf clubs. There are also several large golf clubs in the south. There’s even an indoor golf course for training during the winter or rainy periods nearby in Ottobrunn.
English Garden
The extensive parkland in the English Garden provides visitors with fun, sport and top-quality relaxation. Munich residents meet up in the beer garden to sunbathe or to cool off in the waters of the river Eisbach.
